Swan Smash Repairs has been fixing all makes and models in Welshpool since 1988. Everything is done in our own panel beating and spray painting shops, by people who do this every day. Every repair carries a lifetime warranty.

Whatever the damage, we can repair it, no matter the make or model. We use up-to-date equipment and an Autorobot chassis aligning and measuring system so the structure of your car is brought back to where the manufacturer intended, which matters for how the car drives and how it protects you. Minor or major, drivable or not, we will get it back to its original condition.

Panel beating
A scratch is one thing; severe dents and bent frames are another. Our panel beaters reshape damaged steel and panels using inverter spot welders, a silicon bronze welder and the Autorobot aligner. We have a panel beating shop kept separate from the paint shop, so each job is done properly without getting in the other's way.

Spray & respray
Painting happens in our own down-draft spray booth with infra-red heating, using professional refinishing systems (PPG and AkzoNobel). We colour-match to your car so a repair blends in rather than standing out. We also do full resprays and restoration on any make and model when you want the whole car looking new again.

Dent removal
Small dents are worth fixing early, before they let in moisture or spread. Where the panel and paint allow, we use paintless dent removal, which is quicker and keeps your factory paint. Where it does not, we repair and refinish the panel. Either way you get an honest answer about which approach suits your car.

Bumper repairs
Most bumper scuffs, scrapes and shallow cracks do not need a whole new bumper. Using small-area repair and colour-matched refinishing, we can often fix front or rear bumper damage in a single day and at a lower cost than full replacement. If the damage is too severe to repair, we will tell you straight and replace the part.

Headlights
Cloudy, yellowed headlights cut how far you can see at night and how well other drivers see you. We restore the lens back to clear, which is cheaper than replacing the whole unit and better for the car. We do this for cars and for larger vehicles too, including trucks, buses and motorhomes.
